Bancha is picked late in the summer, post Sencha, from the same tea plant. It's renowned for its straightforwardness and invigorating flavor. This organic Japanese green tea is best steeped with 1 teaspoon per 8 ounces of water at 175F for 3 to 5 minutes. One ounce yields about 8 to 10 servings, and multiple ounces will be combined into a single bag, unless specified otherwise.
