Hate THICK wallets? For as long as I can remember, I've been searching for a thin wallet. I tried every advertised thin wallet and then everything else to keep my cash and cards organized together and to avoid having that uncomfortable and unsightly brick in my pocket. I felt like George Costanza with his wallet problems from the famous Seinfeld TV episode. I couldn't find anything that worked or even looked good; in reality, perhaps I was really looking for the anti-wallet. Finally in frustration, I designed the original thin Big Skinny sport wallet. It took almost 2 years of testing dozens of designs and over 75 natural and man-made materials searching for the right balance of "thin wallet" yet with good looks, functionality, and durability. Product Description

An update to the popular Big Skinny Monte Cougar checkbook wallet, the Slimvelope tri-fold checkbook wallet holds everything you need while maintaining a sleek profile. This version of the Slimvelope features an exterior constructed of top grain cowhide leather and an interior made of Big Skinny's ultra-thin nylon microfiber material to help keep it thinner than a typical wallet. Big Skinny's "divide-and-conquer" design breaks up your cards into four discrete areas so they don't all clump together in one lumpy row. The Slimvelope features two checkbook-sized billfold areas, eight card pockets that hold three to five cards each, two ID pockets with clear plastic windows for easy access to your driver's license or work badge, a fully zippered pocket on the exterior and a magnetic snap closure. The extra-wide pockets are lined with a rubbery coating to prevent cards from slipping out. The Slimvelope wallet measures 7.5 x 4 x 0.27 Inch. The first Big Skinny wallet was designed by Kiril Stefan Alexandrov (the company's founder) because he loathed sitting on a thick, heavy leather wallet. Since creating the original Sport Wallet in 2005 using an advanced nylon micro-fiber material (5 to 7 times thinner than leather), Big Skinny has added dozens of slim wallet styles for men and women with more on the way.
