This chainmail Half Persian wallet chain is made out of 16 gauge stainless steel. It is completely handmade from coiling the wire, cutting the rings, and then woven into a wallet chain. The chain is fastened with a clip for your belt loop, and a split ring for your wallet. The size you choose will be the length of the chain, and then an extra 2.5-3.5 inches are added with the clasp and split ring. (So a 16-inch chain option will be 18.5/19.5-inches in total length). This chain is approximately 12mm wide and 6mm thick. Stainless steel is extremely strong, rust resistant, and will last a lifetime with proper care. Cleaning for this chain only requires some soap, water, and a good drying off. Your new wallet chain will be polished upon ordering, and then shipped out in a cotton filled box put into a bubble mailer. The lower the gauge number, the thicker the wire/rings are. Example: 16 gauge = 1.6mm, 18g = 1.2mm, 20g = 0.8mm, and so on.
